Những ai quan tâm đến công nghệ chắc chắn cũng đã nghe tới việc Liên Minh Châu Âu chính thức phê chuẩn việc sử dụng một chuẩn chung duy nhất (USB Type-C) cho các thiết bị di động tại châu Âu từ 2024.

Nói không đâu xa, những sợi dây sạc muốn hoạt động với iPhone 15 cũng phải là dây USB Type-C “Made for iPhone”, nếu không đạt chứng chỉ này thì máy sẽ không sạc và hiện ra bảng thông báo cảnh báo. Vậy “tiêu chuẩn chung” dường như đã thành một “tiêu chuẩn riêng” của Apple.

Thực chất, USB Type-C cũng chỉ là đầu kết nối còn mỗi hãng sẽ có một chuẩn sạc của riêng mình. Xiaomi thường xuyên ra mắt những tiêu chuẩn sạc 67W, 120W cho riêng mình, OPPO và các hãng con đều sử dụng SuperVOOC – khi dùng chung smartphone của hãng với đúng củ, dây sạc thì mới đạt được tốc độ này.

Việc Apple áp dụng một chuẩn riêng cho USB Type-C sẽ tạo hiệu ứng “dây chuyền”, những nhà sản xuất phụ kiện sẽ phải thêm chuẩn này vào tất cả món đồ của mình, tăng giá bán tới người dùng cuối. Lần này sẽ ảnh hưởng tới cả người dùng Android vì sẽ chả ai bán 2 loại phụ kiện dùng chung cổng cắm cho 2 loại sản phẩm cả!

Việc Apple “nhượng bộ” trong việc dùng chung chuẩn với phần còn lại của thế giới không đồng nghĩa với việc người dùng có thể thoải mái sử dụng bất cứ dây sạc C nào cho iPhone.

Đồng thời hạn chế việc tận dụng các phụ kiện USB-C khác (không đạt chuẩn) có sẵn hoặc dùng chung với bạn bè khi cần thiết. Việc iPhone 15 đổi qua cổng USB-C cũng sẽ khiến người dùng cũ dư thừa ra cáp Lighting cũ, rác thải ra môi trường nhiều hơn”, anh Bùi Nhật Trường, quản trị trang công nghệ Sforum cho biết.

Phản ứng của người dùng

Anh Quang Vũ (Long Biên, Hà Nội), người dùng iPhone lâu năm cho biết nếu Apple chuyển sang sử dụng cổng USB-C cho iPhone thì đây sẽ là tin vui với đại đa số người dùng iPhone. “Mình dùng hệ sinh thái của Apple khá nhiều, từ iPhone, iPad, MacBook cho tới Apple Watch và AirPods. Chuyển sang dùng cổng USB-C mình có thể dùng một sợi cáp duy nhất để sạc chung cho tất cả các thiết bị. Đây rõ ràng là một tin vui đối với người dùng iPhone”, anh Vũ chia sẻ.

Đồng quan điểm với anh Vũ, chị Ngọc Mai (Cầu Giấy, Hà Nội) cũng ủng hộ việc iPhone nên dùng cổng USB-C. “Công việc của mình hay phải chuyển ảnh và video từ máy tính Windows vào iPhone và ngược lại, dùng chuẩn Lightning cho tốc độ khá hạn chế. Nếu Apple chuyển sang sử dụng cổng USB-C và nâng cấp sạc nhanh, tốc độ truyền dữ liệu thì mình hoàn toàn ủng hộ”, chị Mai cho biết.

Nếu sử dụng phụ kiện được chứng nhận MFi, có nghĩa là các phụ kiện này đáp ứng theo yêu cầu của Apple, an tâm hơn khi sử dụng mặc dù có giá cao hơn, nhưng đáng để đánh đổi.
